Katie
Mama to a 7 Week Miracle
Lost July 20th, 2009
Nashville, TN

On the morning of July 9, 2009 I took a pregnancy test. I didn't really think I was pregnant, but I was late, so I figured it couldn't hurt to be sure. Imagine my shock when it was positive! I ran in to tell my husband...we were thrilled and terrified. I took 5 more tests just to be sure!

Nicole
Mom to Caroline Elizabeth
Born Sleeping October 20th, 2010
Knoxville, Tennessee

I decided that I thought it would be a good thing if I went ahead and told my whole story.  Maybe sharing this will help me; maybe it will help someone else who is questioning God’s involvement in such a tough world.  If nothing else, maybe someone will learn that they are truly not alone.

Miscarriage at 9 weeks on February 18th, 2006
Miscarriage at 6 weeks on September 12th, 2009
Kristopher Noble, Stillborn August 1st, 2010
Columbia, Tennessee

My husband and I had only been married four months when I found myself taking three pregnancy tests, unbelieving the little positive signs I kept seeing. Our plan had always been to wait about five years before we started a family, so this twist in our path was a complete surprise.

and Addie Kate Wood, March 25th, 2010

Zoe's Story
We had just found out the sex of our 2nd child when we had our 17 week ultrasound.  A little girl.  Then, I began to have some bleeding a few weeks later and at the ultrasound when Zoe was 20 weeks, her heart had already stopped beating. We chose to be induced and had to wait several days for the hospital to do the induction.  I carried her for 1 week and then was induced & delivered her body.

Jennifer
Mom to Kristen McKenna
Became an Angel September 5th, 2008
Louisville,Tennessee

I was told for most of my teen and adult life that I would never be able to have children... This news broke my heart... The one thing in life that I always wanted to be was a mommy... I had given up all hope... After all I was almost 30 and beginning to think that maybe God's plans for me didn't include having children...

Leanne
Mom to Michael Francis Latterell, II
August 12th, 2010
Nashville, TN

Becoming a mother had always been an ambiguous thought for me growing up, until I met Mike. I felt there was no better way of expressing love for another person than to share yourself in the union of persons and conceive a child. A little piece of us, together, to show and share with the world. Mike was and still is an amazing man and I wanted nothing more than to create a family with him!

Paula
Mom to Baby lost on October 20th, 2009 due to ectopic pregnancy
Smyrna, TN

My husband and I have been trying to conceive for 9 years. One day I felt different and I just knew I was pregnant. It was confirmed and I have to say it was the happiest day I can ever remember with the exception of my wedding day. The picture that I have submitted is actually a picture taken the day I found out I was pregnant. It was such a blessing, our family and friends also shared in our joy because of the struggles we had.

Kristen
Mom to Second Child lost to
first trimester miscarriage
Tennessee

My husband and I found out we were pregnant with our second child on July 24, 2010. We have a two year old daughter and had only recently decided to make her a big sister; I was ecstatic that we were able to get pregnant so soon. I had no complications whatsoever in my first pregnancy so of course my husband and I assumed we would be in for this same this time around. If only we knew then that it would be anything BUT.

Stephanie
Mommy to Kaleigh Grace
Lived 14 days, January 10-23, 2008
Nashville, TN

On January 10th, 2008 I had just turned 24 weeks pregnant with our twins.  My husband and I were in shock as I went into preterm labor for reasons unknown.  The labor was fast and unexpected and I ultimately had our TWINS at home.  Our daughter Kaleigh was born first and breach with no medical assistance.  She wasn't able to breathe as well as she should but managed to survive the trip to the hospital.  Our son Braden was born second and he was born head first with the assistance of the EMT's.

Tamara
Mom to Jenna Grace Belinc
Stillborn on August 12th, 2008
Shelbyville, TN

This story is a long one, so please bear with me. I was so excited in the spring of 2008 to find out we were expecting again. My oldest daughter was almost five years old, and I was ready for another baby. My daughter was over the moon about being a big sister. My family had also experienced the loss of my grandmother just four months earlier. She was the backbone of our family, and we were devastated. We were all ready for something happy to happen, and my pregnancy and the new baby were going to be just that.
