Call for Stories!

Greetings, friends!

As you can see, there are no faces or stories here yet. I need your help to change that! Let's get this party started! :)

Everyone who submits a story from now until next Friday (7/23) will be entered to win a "certificate" for a piece of jewelry from one of my favorite Etsy shops, the place where I got the Tree of Life locket necklace that I wear everyday.

Submission instructions are located under the "submit your story" tab, but here they are are again for you:

1. Write down the story of your pregnancy and loss. You can make it as short or as long as you would like, as simple or detailed as you feel comfortable with. If it's easier to submit a post from your personal blog as-is, that is great too.
2. At the beginning or end of your story, please include the following information:
• Your first name, your lost child(ren)'s name(s), and their date(s) of birth and death
• Your city/state
• Your blog address, if you have one and would like to share it
• Up to 5 subject categories (for example, "stillbirth," "early miscarriage," "NICU," "Pre-eclampsia," that fit your story.
• Your email address, if you are open to having other women contact you with questions or for support
3. Include a photo of (primarily) your face. I will be adding text to the bottom that says, "I am the face of ______." Please let me know what you would like in the blank (for example, "I am the face of stillbirth," or "I am the face of premature birth," etc. If you don't specify, I'll just come up with something based on your story. :)
   
4. Email your story and picture to kristin.cook23@gmail.com. Please use "Faces of Loss Story Submission" in the subject line.

If any of you would like to be involved with this project (running the site, promoting it, whatever), please let me know.

Eventually I will be changing the title pictures to others besides just me. The sooner I get some of your faces, the better! :)
