It's been almost 3 years since my son died and I still miss him terribly. This is a little hard to explain but it's very helpful to hear that the loss of a baby is not something that you simply must "get over" and forget about, like so many of the people who love us encourage. You have to learn how to go on and have happy times while still grieving.<br /><br />I'm so sorry that you didn't even get to hold Christopher or attend his funeral.
